Phillip Schofield has stepped down from ITV’s This Morning “with immediate effect” after more than 20 years. His departure comes after reports claimed relations between him and co-host Holly Willoughby had come under strain in recent weeks. Less than a week after quitting This Morning, Schofield has stepped down from all his ITV roles after admitting to having an affair with a 'younger' colleague. He also confirmed that he is no longer being represented by talent agency YMU.
Phillip Schofield is still at home self-isolating after he still tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.
